In February 2004 the SpeedDater Online site was launched and by the end of that year both the SpeedDater and SpeedDater Online site were integrated. This meant that people attending events or joining SpeedDater Online only needs to create a single profile.
In January 2005 SpeedDater launched SpeedBreaks which specialises in short breaks such as ski weekends, tennis weekends and city breaks for single people.
SpeedDater Events and SpeedDater Online were taken over by one of the UK's largest dating groups, EasyDate plc. in March 2008.
